thanks Jim, You should try it. It's not too hard to learn to fly r/c. our club uses 'buddy cables' wich link the trainee's transmitter to the trainer's transmitter so he can save your plane if you get into trouble. saves you many crashes until you learn. check your area for a local r/c club (AMA sponsored club)

Also, does anyone have any other historic photos of Degelow's D VII ? I've only seen one of he and his guys standing in front of a line of D VIIs but can't see his plane well. any other pics would be appreciated. thanks.
