Gloster Gauntlets

Britain's main fighter force in I937 and I938 relied on fixed undercarriage biplanes. A formation of Gloster Gauntlets of No. 32 Squadron airborne from Biggin Hill in May I937. The Gauntlet was the last open cockpit fighter biplane to serve with the R.A.F and it did not go out of service until I939
