The Navy To The Rescue.
Not long after a merchant ship was attacked in the Atlantic by a German U-boat. When the torpedo struck, an S.0.S was picked up by a destroyer, which raced to the scene. Abandoning their doomed ship (seen in the background), the merchant sailors on a raft, and in two lifeboats, are nearing safety. Saved from death, they ask only to serve again.
