Patton on Fraternisation
Generals Patton and Montgomery disagreed on almost everything. On the subject of fraternisation, Patton got all the laughs at a high level conference in Sicily in the presence of Montgomery, where he came to the point:
“ Fornication ain’t fraternisation! – That is if you keep your hat on and your weight on your elbows!”
