    Hawker Hurricane IID

    Large numbers of the Hurricane IID were supplied to the Desert Air Force. In the Mareth Line battles, they broke up several concentrations of German tanks massing for counter-attacks against Eighth Army advances

    A lighter-armed aircraft attacks an Axis column from one side, drawing the enemy's fire and taking out 'soft' targets.


    The Hawker Hurricane IID, with heavy cannon, swoops in from the opposite direction, before the enemy can react, and blasts the column's tanks.
