This is an amazing plane! The Republic P-47M was the fastest piston engine fighter of the war! This engine made 2,800 hp @ 2,800 rpm at 35,000 feet. now, that is POWER!

i wanted to show you awesome picture of a Republic P-47M Thunderbolt aircraft. just by looking at it, you can tell it is meant to be super fast!

Called "The Jug" by American Pilots I do believe. Probably the fastest diving Allied fighter by far. Good all round performance and like the Hawker Typhoon found it's best role in Ground Attack.
